Keep healthy and green with organic coffee beans.
Organic coffee beans are popular with people who want a chemical free food product. Certified organic coffee beans have gained in popularity over the
past few years as people are becoming more and more conscious about their health. Certified organic coffee is coffee that is recognized as
not using anything but natural products in the growth and production of the coffee. Organic beans do not use pesticides or chemicals to
produce, including in the decaffeinating process. If you want coffee beans that are organic, check the labels to make sure they are actually
certified since some will claim to be organic but they actually are not.
Also, when buying organic coffee online, make sure the vendor is a Certified Organic Coffee Handler and Processor.
This means that they can buy certified organic green beans and roast them themselves in a perfectly natural process, no chemicals involved, just
before they ship to you. Otherwise, what you are purchasing is pre-roasted and pre-packaged organic coffee. Getting your organic coffee from a
certifed handler and processor will ensure you get the freshest product possible delivered at home.
Most certified organic coffee comes from Central and South America, from countries such as Peru, Bolivia, Costa
Rica, and even the Galapagos Islands. If you are as concerned for the coffee grower's health as you are for your own health, have some certified
organic Fair Trade coffee beans which are also readily available online.
